FSR8600 Series Flame-Retardant Fluorosilicone Compounds

◆Product Overview

This product is a uniform mixture of fluorosilicone elastomer as the base polymer, combined with various fillers, additives, and flame retardants. Our specially developed white flame-retardant compound meets the highest fire safety standard specified in UL94V0, while maintaining excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, high/low temperature stability, and weatherability. It is ideal for insulation, oil resistance, and flame retardancy applications in cables, home appliances, automotive ignition wires, motors, and more.

* Heat resistance requires adding a heat stabilizer.

◆ How to Use

Pre-vulcanize on an open mill several times, then add 0.6 to 0.8 parts of 2, 5-dimethyl-2,5-bis(tert-butylperoxy)hexane (DDM) curing agent. Mix thoroughly, pass through the mill 4 to 6 times as needed, fold repeatedly, and sheet out to the required thickness for molding.

Curing Stage 1: 170℃ × 15 min; Curing Stage 2: 200℃ × 4 hr

◆ Product Applications

1: Aviation Industry: Seals or contact parts resistant to aviation fuel and lubricants on aircraft. Examples include O-rings, gaskets, sealing rings, sensor materials, diaphragms, wire clamps for fluoro-silicone gaskets; also suitable for integral tank sealing.

2: Automotive Industry: Seals, oil seals, diaphragms, conduits, valve liners, and more for various vehicles.

3 Petrochemical Industry: Sealing products for pumps, valves, storage tanks, and other equipment designed to withstand high/low temperatures and chemical corrosion.

4 Military Industry: Used in harsh environments requiring low-temperature, oil, and acid resistance, such as hydraulic system bellows for military aircraft, sealing strips for windows, doors, and rear hatches of specialized vehicles, and sensing materials for sensors.

◆ Product Packaging and Storage

1: Keep this product neutral; avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances.

2: This product is cold-flowable; avoid damaging the packaging bag during transport and use.

4 Store at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 1 year.

5: This product is not for transport of hazardous chemicals.
